The honest answer is that the total depends on four or five choices you make at booking, and every one of them is shown before you pay. Package prices are fixed and posted online, the delivery fee for your address appears in the availability checker, and taxes are calculated at checkout. This guide walks through each piece so you know what moves the number for a Toronto karaoke rental, with nothing hidden on the receipt.
Start with the package
The package is the biggest part of the total, and it comes down to where the party is and how many people are singing.
- Home Superstar is for private residences only, recommended for up to 20 guests. It includes 67,000+ songs, a speaker, two microphones and a basic party light, and it plugs into your own TV. This is the pick for a house in East York, a Scarborough family room or a Vaughan basement bar.
- Event Basic covers up to 40 guests in offices, condo party rooms, restaurants, reception halls and community halls. It adds a 22-inch screen, so a Liberty Village party room with a locked TV is no problem.
- Event Superstar is the same 40-guest capacity with two wireless microphones, deluxe party lights, the 22-inch screen and an 80-inch projector. Choose it for a banquet hall in Brampton or a long office floor downtown.

The delivery fee: driving time, not distance
Delivery fees start at $29 and are based on driving time from our Toronto base. A Leslieville or Midtown address is a short trip; Bolton, Milton or King City are 45 to 55 minutes away and cost more to reach. Event packages carry a slightly higher delivery fee than Home. You never have to estimate: type the party address into the availability checker and the exact fee for your date appears before checkout. The delivery areas page lists every municipality in the zone with an approximate driving time.
The delivery fee covers the whole service: the driver carries everything in, sets it up, runs a sound test, shows you how the queue works, and comes back for pickup at the arranged time, usually the next day.
Extra days, add-ons and the December surcharge
Three things can push the total up after the package and delivery fee.
- Extra days. Keeping the machine past the first night costs $99 per extra day on Home Superstar and $199 on the Event packages. A Friday delivery with a Sunday pickup is one extra day, not two.
- Add-ons. An extra speaker, wireless microphones or a 22-inch screen can be added to any package at booking. Most house parties need none of them; a big hall may want the second speaker.
- December surcharge. Christmas-period dates carry a surcharge. It appears in the availability checker before you pay. December sells out early across Toronto, so booking as soon as the date is known matters more than the surcharge does.
Tax (HST in Ontario) is calculated at checkout on the whole amount. The booking page shows the breakdown line by line before you enter a card.
Ways to keep the total down
- Customer pickup. If you live outside the zone or simply want to skip the delivery fee, you can arrange to pick up the equipment yourself and bring it back after the party.
- Home Superstar for a house. If the party is at a private home with 20 guests or fewer, the Home package is all you need. Reserve the Event packages for real event spaces.
- One night is usually enough. Pickup the next day is standard, so a Saturday party does not need a second day.
- Out-of-zone addresses. A cottage past the 45-minute line, or a hall in Caledon that the checker flags as outside the zone, can still be quoted. Request a delivery quote and we will price the trip.
Payment, quotes and cancellations
Online booking takes Visa, Mastercard and American Express, up to six months ahead and as little as two days before the party. Offices and organizations can request a formal quote on the event quote page, approve it by email, add a PO number and pay by invoice through a secure link, with no deposit required.
The cancellation policy is simple and worth knowing before you book a December date: cancel more than two weeks ahead for a full refund less 10%; between two weeks and 48 hours before, a 50% refund; under 48 hours, no refund. Questions before you book? Call 647-812-1684.
